PLEASE READ THIS ================ If you have tried registering/contacting me during the last couple of month, you may have noticed that my old address was no longer valid. I'm sorry for this, but I did not find the time to upload a new version with my corrected address. Should you have tried registering, TRY IT AGAIN NOW, PLEASE! Now I assure you that your mail will reach me. Chances are that I may move again later this year, but NO MATTER WHAT HAPPENS, IF YOU WRITE TO THE ADDRESS BELOW, YOUR LETTER WILL ALWAYS REACH ME!!!!! There is still NO update right now, but there will be one coming soon. However, I must know about your configuration to decide how to do the new version. I'd like to drop the "standard" version and concentrate on a MUI-only version, but if there are many out there who still want to have it, I'll continue to support it. Please mail me back the form below. It is vital!!! It helps me making the right decisions! So far, only the MUI-interpreter was developed further. Enhancements of the beta-version v3.24 include: · Bubble-Help and Online-Guide in all MUI requesters · New Hint-window · Enhanced Preferences-menu · Further code cleanup and speedup Things still to do: · Make it run all types of Infocom games (V3-V8) · Other unique features I won't tell you here... surprise... But I promise you that you've never seen them before in an Interactive Fiction interpreter and that it will finally be the ultimate interpreter! Second, the Amiga is slowly dying. With no company to develop and produce new machines, as time passes the Amiga will become a computer for freaks only. Sad but true. I believe in this machine, and I will continue to support the Amiga, but I decided to write my games from now on with the Inform compiler, so that they can be played on any computer with an Infocom interpreter. Another reason for this decision is that "The Ice Princess" turned out to be a real hit, and I'm sure there are many, many others out there who want to play my games, too, but do not have an Amiga. I won't rewrite "The Timeless Empire", but I have rewritten "The Ice Princess". It is available in the Games/Infocom directory. If you order the Amiga version you'll get BOTH the old MIPRIC and an Infocom game file at a SPECIAL PRICE, so download the old MIPRIC_IP_4.lha archive rather than the new archive. Questions or comments??? Email me!! I'll be glad to hear from you!
